• So what is 'Blood on the Beach'?

'Blood on the Beach' is a 3 day Horror convention that takes place in Virginia Beach, Va. Fans of horror will get the chance to meet some of the biggest horror icons in history. You'll be able to talk to, get autographs and photos taken with the attending celebrities. Also during the 3 day event, you can take part in celebrity Q & A sessions, shop at vendors tables for rare collectibles, such as toys, posters, DVD's, props, masks, t-shirts, displays and much, much more! Also you will be able to attend film screenings, live concerts, costume contest, live performers, and the VIP after party (separate ticket purchase). There will also be giveaways from t-shirts, to movies to a free weekend passes to the next 'Blood on the Beach'! You'll definitely want to get a hotel room at the show so you wont miss out on everything that goes on even after event hours!

• Are autographs free?

Unfortunately, autographs are not free. When they're not filming, celebrities take time away from their friends and families to attend these events to give the fans a chance to meet and mingle with them. So this is another source of their income for their time. Celebrities set their own prices for autographs. Prices usually range from about $15-$25, which includes an 8x10 photo of your choice. Some celebrities charge less to sign an item that you bring to have signed and some celebrities might sign for free but no guarantees.

• Does buying a ticket to the show include autographs?

No! Autograph prices are set by the celebrities

• If I can't make it to the show, can you get an autograph for me?

'Blood on the Beach' does not obtain autographs for fans. If you can't make it to the show, maybe someone you know is going and you can ask them to get the autograph for you.

• I live locally. Why should I get a hotel room?

While you're not required you to get a room for the weekend of the show, we HIGHLY recommend it. There's so much that goes on during the 3 day event, getting a room gives you not only the opportunity to rest for a bit then come back down to the show, it gives you the chance to enjoy EVERYTHING that goes on after show hours and late into the night! Also, if you plan on consuming alcohol at the show, you're better safe in a hotel room than driving and putting yourself or someone else at risk!

• Can I bring my camera and/or video camera to the show?

Cameras are welcomed but video cameras are not allowed during the event. If you're wanting to take a photo of a celebrity or vendor, please have respect and ask them first. Most times they will not mind. Only media/press are given permission to have video cameras during the event.

• How much are tickets for children?

Children 12 years of age and under are FREE with a paying adult. These events get very busy, so PLEASE keep a close eye on your children! If you happen to lose your child, please contact the closest 'Blood on the Beach' and/or hotel staff member.

•What days will the celebrities be signing?

Celebrities will be signing all three days and during show hours, while only taking time off for lunch and break to use the bathroom. Some celebrities will take a couple 5-10 minute breaks through out the day. Sitting at a table for hours without walking or stretching can become a little uncomfortable.

• Can I drink or eat in the event rooms?

NO! Drinks or food is not allowed in any of the event rooms. The hotel has a restaurant and cafe where you can eat and drink.

• Will there be alcohol at the show?

Of course! This is a Horror Convention with tons of fun, live music, show performers and much more! How can you not enjoy yourself with a few drinks! We do however expect you to be a responsible drinker. Anyone getting out of hand will be asked to leave the show.

• Do I have to pay to get into the film screenings, Q & A panels and the live bands?

No! They all are included with your paid admission. Besides admission to the convention, the only other event you have to pay for is the Friday after show VIP party with the celebrities, which is $15 if you did not purchase a VIP Weekend Gold Pass.

•Can I be a volunteer at 'Blood on the Beach'?

If you would like to be a volunteer at 'Blood on the Beach', please go to our 'contact' page and fill out the contact form. Please include your age, name, email and why we should choose you for one of our 'Blood on the Beach' staff. We can not choose everyone that applies to be a volunteer, so please don't be discouraged if you're not chosen. You can always apply for the next 'Blood on the Beach' event. We're looking for people that can dedicate at least 6 hours a day for the 3 day event. If you can dedicate at least six hours but can not volunteer for all 3 days, please let us know what days you can be available.

• I sent you an e-mail but haven't heard back from you!

We receive tons of e-mail. Please allow up to 72 hours to get a response. If you don't hear back from us within 72 hours, just stalk us until we reply. Seriously, don't stalk us! That's just too creepy! Just send us another e-mail.

• Will I have fun at this event?

Does Jason Voorhees have bad skin? Of course you're gonna have fun! Tons of fun!
